Joining Your Wine Club Just Got Quicker

Joining your wine club just got quicker for customers, thanks to recent updates to the Tectalic Wine Club app that give them a faster way to sign up and give you a more profitable club.

Wine club sign-up flows can lose or confuse people along the way. When a visitor decides to join a club, they often have to work through several screens and choices. Customers can stall or be overwhelmed during that process and often never checkout and pay.

Tectalic has released two simple updates to the wine club app that reduce the time taken and decisions customers are asked to make.

One change is already live for every club and lets your customer checkout a subscription and non-subscription wines in the same transaction. The other change lives inside your curated club set up so you may switch it on when it suits the type of curated club you're running.

One click from sign-up to checkout for curated clubs

Offering a curated club means the customer has nothing to choose. You've made the selection for them. Think Winemaker's Choice, Trust the Winemaker, or a Surprise Selection.

The new feature, Express signup, lets you switch on an Add to cart button that appears on every curated case club option on the landing page. There are no wine options to view and no confirmation screen. The customer goes straight from your offer to the checkout.

Anyone wanting to see what's in the case still can. Clicking the [i] icon on the sign-up club card lists the wines by bottle, and the same list appears in the confirmation email after the purchase. Or create a ‘mystery selection’ as a single product and let your Member enjoy the surprise.

Express signup is specifically for the curated club setting. Switch it on and off whenever you like without touching existing subscriptions.

Leave it off if you want customers to buy other items or add an order note before they pay. Express signup skips both, in the interest of getting the customer through checkout as fast as possible.
